Four Mountains and a Volcano

Austria-Class Featured Coffees & Teas

If you follow Convenience Coffee and coco.bm on Facebook, you’ll know that we we’ve explored Austrian coffee houses, coffee brewing, the best chocolate cake in the world, waltzing and even drone and mountain bike tours of the heaps of Austrian peaks all this month (September 2016) in our #youcangettherefromhere travels.

Last week we also took a philosophical look at seven exquisite single cup blends from world-famous Austrian chef, Wolfgang Puck.

But this week here at Brew News Bermuda we’re all about the high-level, altitude-attitude, emphasis on elevation coffees themselves so we’ve globe-trotted all the way from Grossglockner (shown above) in the Austrian Alps to Central and South America, the Caribbean and the Pacific to bring you this week’s fantastic feature flavours.

Read on, or shop on in our Brew Nations Austrian Collection for September, 2016.

Our second peek (pun intended) at premium high-elevation, single-cup coffees this week looks at Gevalia’s Colombia K-Cups. Created with 5-star, Colombian single-origin beans that their buyers have been sourcing for decades …

… it’s a rich, bright and well-bodied medium roast coffee.”

Hawaiian Blend Extra Bold Coffee by Tully’s

The perfect island paradise getaway in a cup — for when you just can’t get away from this island paradise, Tully’s Hawaiian Blend is made from 100% Arabica beans, 10% of which are straight from another island paradise — Hawaii, our fourth mountain in this week’s look up at high-altitude coffees.

Aloha! It’s a simple, tropical, breezy and mildly sweet vacation in a cup.”

Tom “Tully” O’Keefe, founded the company that bears his name in Washington State in 1992. In 2009, Tully’s sold its brand name, wholesale distribution business and fine, hand-crafted coffee roasting operation to Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. The company now focuses on serving in its local Seattle-area retail coffee shops and Convenience Coffee focuses on delivering single-cup and ready-packaged Tully’s coffees here in Bermuda.

100% Arabica, 10% all the way from Hawaii, by Tully’s available 24/7 at coco.bm

Costa Rica K-Cups by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Company

This medium-roast “Costa Rica” K-Cup from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Company was designed expressly for the Keurig brewing system and gets 5-star, rave reviews on-line. Costa Rica is also a customer-favourite in their cafés.

Some of these unique beans are grown almost mile in the sky, in the rich soil of high-altitude, Costa Rican plantations giving them a natural, bright, clean, crisp and fragrant attitude.”

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is the oldest privately-held, specialty coffee company in the U.S. At the time of writing, Convenience Coffee, Bermuda’s most convenient, privately-held office coffee company in Bermuda, stocks four CB&TL premium K-Cup varieties.
